pH Meters

A pH meter is a scientific instrument that measures the hydrogen-ion activity in water-based solutions, indicating its acidity or alkalinity expressed as pH. It is used in many applications ranging from laboratory experimentation to quality control and management practice to measures the difference in electrical potential between a pH electrode and a reference electrode. pH Electrodes

The pH electrode is glass electrode that is sensitive to hydrogen ions. The voltage of the glass electrode, relative to some reference value, is sensitive to changes in the activity of certain type of ions. A buffer is a solution that can resist pH change upon the addition of an acidic or basic components. It is able to neutralize small amounts of added acid or base, thus maintaining the pH of the solution relatively stable and on a nearly constant value. Its function is to minimize the change in pH when base or acid is added to the solution. pH Buffer Solution and Capsules are Color-coded with longer shelf life. These solutions and capsules make it easier to regularly check your pH meter or if tester is accurately calibrated and gives you the best possible results. This range of ready-made buffer solution is suitable for checking the pH instrumentation and pH electrodes. The buffer capsules are slightly different and should be mixed with distilled water before use. Both the capsules and solutions come with different choices of pH levels.

Conductivity Meters

An electrical conductivity meter (EC meter) measures the electrical conductivity in a solution. It is commonly used in hydroponics, aquaculture and freshwater systems to monitor the amount of nutrients, salts or impurities in the water. EC meters are a compact easy to use, clean and calibrate with digital readouts. It allows easy electrode and battery replacement. Its affordable price and size makes it a must-have meter in the field or lab for speedy, accurate readings.

TDS Meters

A TDS Meter indicates the concentration of dissolved solid particles. Which is the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of a solution, dissolved in a given volume of water. It is possible to estimate the quantity of TDS by determining the electrical conductivity of the water by passing a small current through it since all elements dissolved in water have some electrical charge. It provides a fast and dependable way to measure the Total Dissolved Solids in water samples. The built-in automatic temperature compensation feature ensures accurate readings under any ambient conditions.
