Colorimetric Gas Detection Tubes are a simple, low cost and low maintenance method of instantaneously detecting gases. With no calibration equipment required, these Colormetric Tubes play an important role in the protection of employees from airborne substances.

How to Operate

Using a hand operated pump, such as the Honeywell Hand Pump or Gastec Standard Detector Tube, a sample is drawn through a tube which contains a reagent, causing a colour change. This colour change can be read against the marking information on each tube, providing an accurate reading.
